A very "simple" house dress. Drape, pattern, muslin mock up, fitting, alter pattern, meeting with designer, source fabric, dye fabric, cut fabric, assemble garment, 2nd fitting, alterations, see it at tech and then... final alterations. All for a "simple" house dress.
Deb is a New York based theater artist, costumer and puppeteer. She is the Costume Shop Supervisor for the Brooklyn College Department of Theater and Adjunct Lecturer teaching Puppetry for the Theater. Deb has collaborated on both commercial projects and original works for theater, TV, and film.

SEVEN DWARVES: A Survival Story. A puppet show!
In June of 2013 I attended the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center National Puppetry Conference as a Artist in Residence along with my collaborator, Jean Marie Keevins. Together we workshopped our new puppet production, "Seven Dwarves, A Survival Story". Actors, shadow puppets and toy theater figured prominently.
